چکیده
Background: Prognostic factors for ovarian cancer include residual tumor and chemotherapy response, but these parameters are not sufficient to predict prognoses. A new approach such as mGPS that use a combination of CRP albumin can be used assess an inflammatory response. With mGPS, elevated value hypoalbuminemia poor prognosis. Objective: To investigate the effect on histopathologic staging grading cancer.Method: The study design was cross sectional study. population this were patients with suspected who underwent laparotomy surgical at RSUP Dr. Sardjito. samples have examined hs-CRP level preoperative, then histopathological results epithelial cancer. Data analyzed using Chi Square test logistic regression. Results Discussion: there 57 subjects consisting 25 (43.86%) high 32 (56.14%) low mGPS. is associated stage (p = 0.000; RP 4.000 CI 95% 2.195 – 7.289). multivariate analysis showed most important factor in determining 3.818 1.544-6.092). High-sensitivity modified Glasgow prognostic score (HS-mGPS) Is superior to the mGPS in esophageal cancer patients treated with chemoradiotherapy
The present study compared the prognostic value of the modified Glasgow prognostic score (mGPS) and high-sensitivity mGPS (HS-mGPS) in unresectable locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcimona (LAESCC) patients treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT). The baseline data of 163 eligible patients were retrospectively collected. Patients with a C-reactive protein (CRP) ≤ 10 mg/l and...

The present study was designed to investigate the prognostic significance of the preoperative sensitive-modified Glasgow prognostic score (S-mGPS) and its superiority in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Clinicopathologic characteristics, preoperative albumin and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels were retrospectively collected in 442 patients who underwent transthoracic esophagectomy. Th...
متن کاملPrognostic Value of the Modified Glasgow Prognostic Score in Patients Undergoing Radical Surgery for Hepatocellular Carcinoma
There is increasing and consistent evidence concerning the association of systemic inflammation and poor outcome in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The aim of this study was to identify a superior inflammation-based prognostic scoring system for patients with HCC undergoing hepatectomy. We analyzed two independent cohorts of a total of 723 patients with HCC who underwent radical su...
متن کاملModified Glasgow prognostic score is an independent prognostic factor in patients with cervical cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy.
OBJECTIVES There is increasing evidence that the presence of an inflammation-based prognostic score (modified Glasgow prognostic score, mGPS) could predict survival in patients with advanced cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the prognostic value of mGPS in patients with cervical cancer. METHODS We included 238 consecutive patients with cervical cancer in our study. The albumin ...
